Jobsee Academy
Sponsor the certificate that gets a young person their first job.
Jobsee Academy is how employers back young people entering the job market. You choose to sponsor recognised UK certificates, and young people take the course free.
Why it matters
A certificate should not cost someone their first job.
The certificate is the filter
First-job adverts often ask for a certificate, like Level 2 food hygiene, before a young person has ever been paid.
The cost lands on the wrong person
A young person with no job is asked to pay for the certificate to get the job that would pay for it.
Employers can close the gap
A sponsored course takes the cost away, and the young person arrives with the certificate the job asks for.
How it works
You sponsor. They qualify. Everyone sees it.
Young people never pay. Jobsee is free for young people, always.
- Step 1
You choose to sponsor
Sponsor course seats for young people in your area. It is optional: you decide whether to take part and how many seats to fund.
- Step 2
Young people take the course free
They spend credits through Jobsee College, never money, on short accredited courses like food hygiene and health and safety.
- Step 3
The certificate goes on their application
It lands on their Jobsee application, so employers see it when they apply.
For sponsors
Your support is visible. Their privacy is protected.
Sponsors see the numbers, never which young person took their seat, unless that person later applies to them. A course is never required to apply for a job on Jobsee.
Sponsorship packages are being agreed with our first employers. Register interest and we will share the options.
What sponsors get
- Your business named as sponsor on the course and in the app
- Your roles shown alongside the course, clearly labelled as sponsored
- Clear numbers: seats used and certificates gained
- A community story to share: local business backs local young people
