Coming with the pilot

Jobsee College: the certificate the job asks for, paid for.

Short online courses that get you the certificates first jobs ask for, like food hygiene and health and safety. You spend credits, not money: they are given to you, or sponsored by local employers.

I want to sponsor courses
Our launch goal: the first 500 young people to join in Wrexham get a free food hygiene or health and safety course. Details are confirmed when the pilot opens.

First courses

Start with what employers ask for.

  • Food hygiene, Level 2

The certificate café, kitchen, bar and food shop adverts ask for most. A few hours online.

  • Health and safety basics

Safe working, manual handling and spotting hazards: useful on day one in almost any job.

  • More to follow

Courses chosen from what local employers actually ask for, starting with the pilot sectors.

How it will work

Credits, not cash.

You never pay for credits. Jobsee is free for young people, always.

  1. Step 1

    Get credits

The plan: credits arrive in your Jobsee account, with a welcome credit for the pilot and more sponsored by local employers.

  2. Step 2

    Pick a course

Short online courses from recognised providers we are lining up, linked to the jobs you are interested in.

  3. Step 3

    Show your certificate

It goes straight onto your Jobsee application, so employers see it when you apply.

Do you legally need a food hygiene certificate to work with food? Not always: read our plain guide before you pay for anything.
