For young people

What is Jobsee?

Jobsee is a jobs and careers platform built for young people. You tell us what you could see yourself doing, Jobsee builds one application from your answers, shows you the jobs you are ready for, and lets you apply in a tap. We are starting with a pilot in Wrexham, North Wales.

Is it free?

Yes, always. Young people never pay to use Jobsee. Employers pay for some features later; you never do.

Who can join?

The first version opens to 18 to 24 year olds. If you are 16 or 17 you can join the waitlist now: jobs for 16 and 17 year olds open a little later, once the extra safety checks for under-18s are in place. If you are still in Year 11, jobs open to you after you finish school.

I have no work experience. Is that a problem?

No. Most people your age have not had a job yet. The application builder asks about things you have actually done, like sport, clubs, volunteering, caring for family or a side hustle, and helps you describe them in the words employers use.

Do I need a CV?

No. Your Jobsee profile is your application. You can still add a CV later if you have one.

Will Jobsee write my application with AI?

No. Everything in your application is yours. Jobsee puts the answers you give into simple templates (for example a short message to each employer), so nothing is invented and no AI writes it. You can read and change every word before anything is sent.

When can I start applying?

Accounts open with the Wrexham pilot. Join the waitlist and we will email you when you can get in, before anyone else.

For parents and carers

How do you keep young people safe?

Safety is being built in from the start. When accounts open, employers will be checked before they can post, and profiles will be private: employers will only see an application when your young person chooses to apply. Under-18s will get extra protection, including no public profiles and contact that stays inside Jobsee.

What information do you collect?

Only what an application needs. We use a postcode area rather than a full address and an age band rather than a date of birth. We never sell personal information. Our privacy notice explains everything in plain English.

For employers

What does it cost to post a job?

Founding Employers in the Wrexham pilot post for free during the introductory period. Paid features come later and are optional.

What will I receive when someone applies?

A complete, relevant application: availability, the certificates and checks your sector needs, answers to your screening questions and a short note in the applicant’s own words. Only the parts that matter for your role.

Can I advertise roles for 16 and 17 year olds?

Yes, once under-18s open on Jobsee. You will be asked to confirm the role is suitable and to follow the young worker rules on hours, breaks and pay. We will remind you of the essentials when you post.

How do you verify employers?

Every employer will be checked before a job goes live: your business details, a named contact and a way to confirm you are who you say you are.
